The Energizers is a very exciting and energized 4-H group, in the Mazomanie/Black Earth area of Wisconsin.

The Energizers 4-H club had a wonderful holiday season.  At their last meeting, all members of the club made holiday cards for residents of the Heartland Country Village nursing home.  They also had a cookie exchange between families, and gave the cookies to the nursing home, so that residents could have some delicious homemade cookies during the season.

With community service being one of the main points of the Energizers’ club, they are pleased to announce that the food pantry donations they have been accepting are helping to keep our local food pantry stocked up.  They are still accepting donations at one of their 5 drop-off boxes (The Peoples Community Bank in Mazomanie, The Black Earth state bank, The Mazomanie Library, The Black Earth Library and The Mazo Market Shell Station.).  For ideas of what to donate please visit our website listed below.

The Energizers plan to kick off their new year with more community service and lots of creative projects for all ages.  If you, or a family member is interested in joining our club, please visit our website or contact Polly Craig (608-616-0765). The club is also looking for energized adults to lead a number of projects during the year.

The Energizers wish you a safe, but exciting 2010!  And don’t forget, The Energizers aren’t just about bunnies anymore!

The Parrell Family

The Parrell Family (Kelly, Jacob, Wayne and Audrey) has been in 4-H for 9 years.

One of the daily routines for the Parrell Family is waking up and going to either school or work. Then coming home to do homework and watch television together.

The Parrell family is involved in Volleyball, Basketball, Soccer, Church, National Honor Society and Student Council.

Fun Facts:

One fun fact about the Parrell family is that they live on a dairy farm!
